Call TO ARTISTS - 2024 WAG “Holiday Small Works +” Show
SHOW DATES: November 29 - December 8, Fridays-Sundays
You may submit one to three artworks for this show if you are a current member of WAG or a WAG scholarship recipient. Entries must be the artist’s original work (not a reproduction or copy of another work.)
Works in all types of wall hung media are welcome — including paint, pastel, pencil, ink, photos & computer art.
2 small artworks SIZE LIMIT:
Please measure your artwork.
2-dimensional, rectangular or square works that are 16”x16” or smaller, including any frame.
Your work must be properly framed, on cradle-board or canvas, or gallery wrapped, and wired for hanging on a wall.
Put your name, address, and phone number on the back of each work.
If either of the pieces exceed the size limit, or is not wired, it will not be hung.
“One + Artwork” SIZE LIMIT:
Please measure your artwork.

Your work must be properly framed, on cradle-board or canvas, or gallery wrapped, and wired for hanging on a wall.
Put your name, address, and phone number on the back of each work.
If the +-sized piece exceeds the size limit, or is not wired, it will not be hung.
Bin artwork:
Artists submitting a wall artwork can also submit 2 artworks for the bin.
Bin artwork should be unframed, wrapped in plastic, original artwork (no prints or stretched canvas) and under the 16x16 size.
All works must be for sale during the show. WAG will promote this show as ‘small works at small prices.’ We suggest a price of $400 or less (artwork under $250 has sold best in this show in the past).. The works in this show may be purchased at WAG between November 29 and December 8, 2024 , works will be taken by buyer and not replaced by artist for this show.
Procedure and requirements for submitting artwork for this show:
ON-LINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: By Wednesday, November 20th, register online at LINK.
DROP-OFF DAY: Hand deliver your artwork at WAG, 1970 Main Road, Westport Point, MA on Thursday, November 21 from 12PM-1PM or Monday, November 25 from 4-6 PM with registration fee at drop off.
The non-refundable entry fee is $15 for one or $20 for two or three artworks, or $5.for 1-3, if you volunteer for a gallery sitting shift at least one day of the show at WAG. Gallery sitting link for SignUpGenius.
PICK-UP OF UNSOLD WORKS: All artwork that is not sold must be picked up at WAG on Sunday, December 8rd, 2024 between 4:00 and 5:30 PM or Thursday December 12 between 9:30 AM- 12 Noon. Works not picked up on time will become the property of WAG. Sales of Artwork in this Show
PICK-UP AND DELIVERY OF SOLD WORKS: Works purchased at WAG should be taken by the buyer at the time of purchase. If a work is sold, WAG will retain a 25% commission on the price paid and pay the 75% balance to the artist by check sent to the artist’s address in the USA as specified in the registration form. WAG reserves the discretion to not show a work, including, for example, a work that does not meet these criteria. For questions, contact WAG at info@westportartgroup.com
CALL TO CRAFTERS - “Tis The Season” Holiday Fair
HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR: Sunday, December 1st - 10AM- 4PM
ELIGIBILITY: The WAG “TIS THE SEASON” HOLIDAY FAIR will feature handmade items crafted by members and local artisans. The Craft Fair will beheld in the North Gallery (gallery room to the left when entering the building). The Fair will be held in conjunction with the WAG 2024 Holiday Small Works Show. WAG provides a festive atmosphere for good sales from an enthusiastic and loyal customer base.
A beautiful variety of crafts from previous WAG holiday fairs.
We would like to have featured a variety of high quality items for sale including pottery, jewelry, textiles, glasswork, woodcraft and more. Paintings, Photographs, 2D Art Works over 6 x 6 inches are not allowed at craft tables.
TABLE FEE: $35 members; $50 non-members. 6 ft. Table (WAG provided). Chairs will also be provided.
SALES: You must have a salesperson for your table. WAG does not take a commission, as long as someone is at your table.

The Periwinkle Shop
WELCOME to the NEW Periwinkle Gift Shop at Westport Art Group!
The Periwinkle Shop features small art items, handcrafted gifts and small wall-hung works made by our members, and is located in the Westport Art Group lobby. The Periwinkle Shop is open during classes and by appointment at 1740 Main Road, Westport Point, MA.

FREE SHELF & WALL SPACE AVAILABLE NOW IN THE PERIWINKLE SHOP!
One of the perks of WAG membership is being able to sell your artwork and handmade original items in the Periwinkle Gift Shop – and you’re invited to participate! All current WAG members can submit small works of art and original handmade items to sell at the gallery - without charge for the space. WAG will retain a 25% commission on all items sold.
Submissions may include artwork in all mediums, photography, handmade jewelry, sculptures, fiber art, books and other items. Visit Events and Exhibitions — Westport Art Group on our website for full details.
· WALL ART must not exceed 12” x 12” and cannot exceed $150 in price.
· CABINET items can’t be taller than 12” due to the dimensions of the shelves.

Please mention Periwinkle Shop in the subject line! We can work out an agreeable date and time (I’m also available some early evenings).
